You may take away everything from President Weah or label him anything, but not one who is pompous and arrogant. He is an epitome of humility. So it was when he paid a surprised visit to his friend from way back in the days at the Black Diamond Restaurant up Broad Street, in the Nation’s Capital Monrovia.
The visit had social media buzzing with some people arguing that it is below the President to go to the Restaurant or derogatorily, Cook Bowl Shop ( Bookshops where food are prepared for the ordinary day-to-day ordinary hustlers). What people did not know is that the Owner of the Restaurant and President Weah go way back into the days. As a matter of fact, she is a fantastic cook that cooks even better than some so call posh restaurants in town.
Liberians will do well to focus on substantive things that will move the country forward and not crucify the President for doing the right thing- remembering those who were there with him when he was a nobody.
