President Weah Drives Development and Entrepreneurial Spirit

President’s Visit in March

Since the March 2018 visit of President George Manneh Weah to the Black Diamond Food Joint up Broad Street, adjacent the Cathedral Catholic Church downtown Monrovia, scores of Government employees, private citizens and jobs seekers are flocking to the business daily. Some are hoping they may be lucky to meet and dine with the Head of State who, despite his exalted status today, has not forgotten his friends from way back.

One of such friends is Sister Janet, the proprietor and owner of the Black Diamond Bar and Restaurant. Sensing the business opportunity the President’s visit has brought, Sis Janet is now very busy transforming the place to cope with it’s new found customers, including the President as is evidenced by the pictures inserted. Even the wall against which the President’s back is turned is now sparkling white.

The President’s visit has engendered the spirit of development and entrepreneurship, not only in the owner of Black Diamond but other Liberians as well.
